Fair terms. Plain English.

1. Acceptance

By using AI Scale Simulation ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and AI Scale Simulation ("we", "us").

2. The Service

AI Scale Simulation is a financial modeling and capacity-planning tool for AI-native businesses. It uses your inputs to produce projections, risk scores, and AI-generated recommendations.

Important: outputs are estimates based on your inputs. They are not financial, legal, tax, investment, or operational advice. Always validate against your real billing data before making business decisions.

3. Accounts

• Account creation is optional. Sign in with Google to save simulations.
• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• One account per person/entity. No sharing.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service (see Section 5).

4. Paid tiers

• One-time purchases processed via Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Deliverables (PDF report, CSV, audit) are emailed via Brevo within minutes of payment.
• Refunds: if the deliverable was not received or is materially defective, email billing@aiscalesimulator.com within 7 days for a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.
• Promo codes (e.g. LAUNCH50) are non-transferable, can be revoked at any time, and have no cash value.
• Prices may change. We honor the price at time of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape, mass-automate, or reverse-engineer the Service or its outputs.
• Submit illegal, harmful, deceptive, or rights-violating content in share links or contact forms.
• Impersonate other companies in the lead capture or share-link feature.
• Probe, attack, or attempt to interfere with the Service's security.
• Resell paid deliverables as your own work product.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. User-generated content (public share links)

When you opt in to a public share link, your company name and risk score become viewable at a public URL (/r/<token>). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display this content for the purpose of the share feature. You can revoke at any time via the dashboard or by emailing privacy@aiscalesimulator.com.

Anyone can report content via the "Report this content" link on a share page. We will remove content that violates these Terms within 72 hours.

7. AI-generated content

Recommendations and the 30/60/90-day plan are generated by Anthropic Claude (Sonnet 4.5) using your simulation inputs. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date. You're responsible for verifying anything you act on. We are not liable for outcomes from following AI-generated suggestions.

8. Intellectual property

• The Service, software, brand, and visual design are ours.
• Your simulation inputs and the reports we produce for you are yours — use them however you want.
• You may publish, share, or republish your own reports. You may not redistribute deliverables to third parties for compensation.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee uptime, error-free operation, or that recommendations will achieve any specific result.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $50 if you never paid us). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost runway, or business interruption.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by emailing privacy@aiscalesimulator.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material violation of these Terms. Sections that should survive termination (IP, liability, disclaimers) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes, we'll email signed-in users at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved by good-faith negotiation first. If we can't resolve it, we'll use binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions). You and we both waive jury trials.
