Your data. Plain English.

1. What we collect

When you use AI Scale Simulation, we collect:

• Simulation inputs: provider, monthly users, requests per user, tokens, costs, revenue, traffic pattern, agents — non-identifying business data you enter.
• Lead capture data: name, work email, company name. Required to deliver your free report.
• Google account profile (if you sign in): name, email, profile picture, and a unique user ID. Provided by Google's OAuth via Emergent's managed auth.
• Payment metadata (if you buy a paid tier): Stripe handles your card details — we never see or store full card numbers. We receive only the Stripe customer/session ID and what tier you bought.
• Usage telemetry: server-side logs (IP, user agent, page paths) retained ≤30 days for security and debugging.
• Cookies / local storage: a session token to keep you signed in, and small preference flags (e.g. "PWA install prompt dismissed", "last simulation result"). No third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use your data

• Generate your AI cost risk score, projections, and recommendations.
• Email you your report and any paid deliverables (Pro Report, Founder Toolkit, Async Audit).
• Show your saved simulation history and risk-score timeline when you sign in.
• Display anonymized activity on the public ticker — only if you opt in (only initials of company + risk score, never email).
• Power public viral share links — only if you opt in.
• Comply with legal obligations (tax records for paid transactions).

4. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access all data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all associated data — irreversible.
• Opt out of the public activity ticker or share-link mechanic at any time.
• Export a copy of your data in machine-readable form.

Email privacy@aiscalesimulator.com and we'll action your request within 30 days. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR; CA residents have additional rights under CCPA. We honor all of them.

5. Data retention

• Saved simulations: kept while your account is active. Deleted on account deletion.
• Payment records: 7 years (tax compliance).
• Server logs (IP, user agent): up to 30 days.
• Marketing emails: never — we don't send marketing emails. Only transactional reports you've asked for.

6. Security

All traffic is HTTPS-encrypted. Database is encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard practices (least-privilege access, rotating secrets, hashed session tokens). We're a small team — if we ever have a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours by email.

7. Children

AI Scale Simulation is built for founders, developers, and operators. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we change anything material. For significant changes, we'll email signed-in users at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
